How Verification Works

  • • If you upload files, they are sent to our API for server-side SHA-256 hashing and verification
  • • We compute a Merkle tree of the file hashes
  • • The Merkle root is checked against the blockchain
  • • Prefer not to upload files? Use “Verify by Hash” instead
